According to the methodology developed in Activity 3.1, a detailed contingency plan (DCP) was developed for each EPS. The DCP defined a response system for all three phases of risk management: (1) the marine pollution detection and early warning system, (2) the sudden marine pollution response system, and (3) the marine water quality remediation and monitoring system. For each response system, the DCP has also defined the procedures and equipment for appropriate and timely response, the competencies of the response teams, and will propose the awareness campaigns for sea users and local communities in general on the responsible use of the sea.
