On 26 July 2019, Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA organized a meeting with experts in order to work on the response system for sea pollution risks and incidents in the enclosed parts of the sea.

As a result of the meeting, it became clear that, even with peculiarities of morphological features, there are many common aspects on both italian and croatian coast that allows to create a common contingency plan for reduce pollution risks and incidents in EPSs.

It has been decided to define, together, an action plan wide enough to encompass information on coastal structure, bottom structure, legislative and variety of other information.

PEPSEA team will work to develop a methodology for risks and incidents in EPSs by the end of 2019.
