The 9th and 10th June 2021 was held in Šibenik the third meeting of the Coordination for the improvement of the preparedness and response to accidental marine pollution.

The event was held with the support fo the Ministry of the Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure and has brought together the members of Operational Centers of all Croatian`s coastal Counties.  The key topic was the development of a new national contingency plan; a topic highly pertinent with the goals of the PEPSEA project.

ATRAC`s representatives did not miss this opportunity and presented their experiences of the Lebanon spill (in which ATRAC was involved in March) while Employees of the Department of Tourism and Maritime Affairs Split-Dalmatia County presented their efforts on PEPSEA WP3 and WP4 activities. Last but not least, also Zadar County Development Agency - ZADRA NOVA, Lead Partner of the project, attended the meeting and illustrated the results achieved so far by PEPSEA project for Zadar County.  

The event allowed to demonstrate the great efforts and results achieved by the PEPSEA project and, above all, to know the state of the art of the activities and best practices achieved to deal with oil spills cases.
