PEPSEA "Protecting the Enclosed Parts of the Sea in Adriatic from pollution“ Kick-off meeting will be organized on 20th and 21st May 2019 in Zadar (Croatia) hosted by the Lead partner Zadar County development agency ZADRA NOVA and opening press conference will be held on 22nd May 2019.

The project objective is to develop an adequate and timely response system for events of incidental sea pollution in enclosed parts of the Adriatic sea. This area is characterized by islands, bays, channels and lagoons influenced by frequent sea traffic and other human maritime activities. Project result will enable prevention of sea pollution as well as prompt response to such events with the aim of preserving marine and coastal ecosystems.
