Dubrovnik Neretva County aims at improving accessibility for people with disabilities by installing aqualifters on 5 beaches

Dubrovnik-Neretva County provided 5 beach aqualifters for the City of Korčula and Župa dubrovačka, Konavle, Dubrovačko primorje and Orebić municipalities. The investment is worth about 65.000 Euro and aims to enable people with disabilities easier and better access to beaches.

Two electric aqualifters were installed in 2021, while the remaining 3 in May 2022, before the summer season.
Local government made all preparatory works for the aqualifter installation and the supplier installed the equipment to its full functionality.

Local communities will take care of aqualifter maintenance, regular service, seasonal installation and proper storage out of season.
