Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, along with its project partners, is organizing a MARLESS High Level Event which will be held on 16th June 2021 and will bring together experts, relevant policy makers and the general public in order to discuss and tackle the problem of marine litter in the Adriatic Sea.
The event, called “A clean Adriatic Sea for future generations” focuses on recognizing the importance of this issue by local and ministry representatives and on sharing best practices. The importance of joint efforts and international cooperation will be emphasized, as well as concrete actions and innovative solutions used for monitoring, managing and preventing marine litter.
The event will be held on the Zoom platform from 10:00 until 12:00 and every participant will receive the participation link before the beginning of the event. Interpretation from Italian to Croatian and vice versa are ensured.
The participation on the event is free and online registration is required to attend. Please note that the registration will close on 15th June 2021, 14:00.
