The final conference of the MADE IN-LAND project was held in Ancona on May 18, 2022. During the final conference, which was attended by representatives of all project partners, the focus of the discussion was on the core of the project - the role of natural and cultural heritage in the development of the hinterland.

During the conference, the brand "The quest for the fifth element" was presented, the development of which was coordinated by the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA as a project partner. It was explained how to form a brand based on the four basic elements that make up life on earth - fire, water, earth and air, and how the fifth element came from this - recognizing the value of the hinterland and love for it.

During the final technical conference, the Permanent Cross-Border Observatory was launched, signing a memorandum of understanding between the partner and all project stakeholders to encourage future cooperation and develop projects to capitalize on the MADE IN-LAND project's cross-border strategy. It is primarily aimed at encouraging the development of inland areas through the improvement and promotion of natural and cultural heritage.

ZADRA NOVA Agency is a partner in the MADE IN-LAND project, which brings together a total of nine partners from the Adriatic regions of Croatia and Italy, and its main goal is to protect and valorize untapped natural and cultural potentials of continental parts of partner regions. Project activities include local communities in the hinterland and coast in cooperation with which the territorial brand will be developed, and through joint marketing plans and IT tools tangible and intangible cultural and natural heritage will be promoted. The project with a total value of EUR 2,218,069.31 is being implemented from 1 January 2019 to 30 June 2022 within the Interreg Italy-Croatia Cross-border Cooperation Program 2014-2020.
