MADE IN-LAND Regional event successfully held in Zadar

Regional event “Looking into the inland” was successfully held on 26 September at the Rector's Palace in Zadar (HR).

It was the first regional event of the MADE IN-LAND project, which is an integral part of the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme and aims at protecting and valorizing the natural and cultural potentials of the inlands of the partner regions involved.

Event gathered more than 70 people, individuals who are involved in the development of the inland of Zadar region through entrepreneurship, academic, public and civic activities.

Main discussion of the event was about effective valorization of inland potential through the tourist offer of local products and services. Moreover, question that caused significant discussion was about achieving tourist’s migration from the coast to the inland area.

The event hosted two experienced speakers, both successful tourism experts. One of them is tourism consultant specialized in family accommodation and development based on local authentic services and the other is director of the Ravni Kotari tourist board.

Two panel discussions brought together some of the most relevant people in Zadar area when it comes to considering and implementing development plans in the context of tourism, culture and agriculture.
