At this year's Salone Nautico Venezia, the Unioncamere del Veneto team successfully presented its key initiatives aimed at advancing the sustainable blue economy. The Venice Boat Show—a unique hub where business, tradition, and environmental innovation intersect—served as the perfect stage to connect local and international stakeholders.
A highlight of the event was a presentation by Giada Bagattin, who delivered an engaging overview of the LEAP TO BLUE project, along with other strategic initiatives driven by Unioncamere del Veneto: DIH InnovaMare & InnovaBlue ( projects focused on digitalization and innovative technologies in the marine sector) and EIT Water Consortium (an initiative dedicated to sustainable water ecosystem management and protection).
The session highlighted key efforts to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by showcasing practical tools, funding opportunities, and specialized services designed to support sustainable growth and ease the green transition. Beyond practical resources, the event facilitated stronger ties between local businesses and international partners, underscoring that a successful shift toward a sustainable blue economy relies heavily on cross-sector collaboration, shared data, and robust regional networks
