On 15th and 16th of February 2018, the Kick-off meeting was held for project KeyQ+ "Culture and tourism as keys for quality cross border development of Italy and Croatia", in Pazin and Pula, respectively. The KeyQ+ Kick-off meeting was organised as a two-day event.
The first day, February 15th was operational in nature and was held at AZRRI’s Education Gastronomy Centre of Istria on Gortanov brijeg near Pazin.
On Friday, February 16th the project was presented to the public.
The KeyQ+ project was approved for funding during the First call for proposals of CBC Programme Interreg Italy-Croatia. KeyQ+ will capitalise the results of the project Key Q, within which the Educational Gastronomy Centre of Istria was established where during the last three years AZRRI has been successfully carrying out professional training workshops for expert chefs, waiters and students.
The main outputs of the project will include a Gastronomic Guide and tourism itinerary, new formative offer for chefs and waiters, and the creation of seven KeyQ+ Points which will represent the reference point for professionals, tourists and citizens interested in Culture and Gastronomy.
