Kick-off meeting held on October 25 and 26 in Pescara

The kick-off meeting for the NEWS project took place on October 25th and 26th in Pescara, hosted by the Lead partner, CNA Abruzzo, and attended by all other partners (CNA Abruzzo, Eupolis and IRI Centar).
The work day on the 25th was held at the CNA Abruzzo headquarters focusing the activities on the state of the play on the analysis of existing obstacles for the setting up of a new governance model in the SME's cooperation, producing a constructive and shared discussion.
On the 26th, the NEWS project joined the local organization of the "Premio Cambiamenti" initiative. This collaborative effort, which has seen the participation of the program's Joint Secretariat and project partner of the NEWS project allowed the presentation of the NEWS in a dynamic contest that recognizes and celebrates innovative start-ups from the Abruzzo and Molise regions.
Out of the 66 start-ups that applied, 13 outstanding finalists were highlighted. The event was marked by remarkable participation from the academic community, with over 120 university students participating. "Premio Cambiamenti" stands out as a national platform for the advancement and evolution of start-ups.
This gathering was a strategic moment to introduce to a wide audience the NEWS project and discuss the advantages and possibilities offered by the Italy-Croatia Program.
