During the transnational workshop “Good practices in decarbonization of the local road transport and opportunities for local government units” - scheduled for October 22nd in the framework of the EUKI project Alpe-Adria Clean Transport Alliance (AaCTA) - the INTESA project will be presented.
In the Split-Dalmatia County projects session, Izv. Prof. Dr. Sc. Zvonimir Lušić will present the results of INTESA pilot action developed in the Port of Split concerning the feasibility studies and definition of guidelines for port operations (i.e., port entrance, berthing & unberthing, mooring) in different weather conditions and environmental changes in sea and air values.
INTESA project is indeed strongly related to the development of sustainable management strategies for the port traffic also improving security and transport efficiency.
AaCTA's overall aims are decarbonization and sustainable transport traffic management. Objectives that match perfectly with those of INTESA, such as improving quality, safety and environmental sustainability of marine and coastal transport services by promoting, among other things, multimodality.
