Study visit at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in the framework of InnovaMare project: Italian and Croatian partners, accompanied by local SMEs, will discover a successful model of innovation ecosystem

From 15th to 17th November 2021, the Italian and Croatian partners of the strategic InnovaMare project (Interreg VA Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Programme), accompanied by local SMEs, will be hosted in Trondheim by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) for a study visit. 

This great opportunity will enable participants to get to know a successful ecosystem supporting innovation, generation of ideas, entrepreneurship and technology transfer. The thematic focus will be related to underwater robotics and sensors and maritime technologies. The rich programme comprises a meeting with the pro-Rector of Innovation and the visit of Marine Technology Centre (discovering its research lines and innovation strategy thanks to the Innovation Manager), Applied Underwater Robotics Laboratory and Ocean Autonomy Cluster and its companies. Innovative spin-offs operating in the field of blue technologies will also be presented: Ocean Tech, Eelume and Blueye Robotics. 

The study visit is organized by the Regional Union of Chambers of Commerce of Veneto Region, which will participate together with experts (MERAKI Srl, University of Padua, T2i) and local SMEs, Wireless and More and Riccardo Longato Srls.

InnovaMare project aims to enhance cross-border collaboration between science and private sectors on technology transfer by creating innovative network for underwater robotics and sensors, by involving of SMEs in international networks.
