Croatian Chamber of the Economy is organizing the hybrid event that will take place on June 23rd, 2021 in Shanghai and online for all other participants to promote cooperation with the Shanghai Science & Technology Exchange Center.

This event is the first step at the beginning of cooperation with the Shanghai Center for Science and Technology Exchange, with which the Croatian Chamber of Commerce will work on the establishment of HUB for innovation and cooperation in scientific and technological research, development, and innovation.

We have signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of an Innovation HUB and the multi-party cooperation in scientific and technological research and development as well as innovation.

The cooperation aims to promote a knowledge-based and innovation-based economy, as well as to diversify society, the economy and to achieve future cooperation in areas of common interest to advance the development of science and technology.

The present participants will be addressed by Tomislav Radoš, Vice president of Croatian Chamber of Economy, and Liu Guangshun, Deputy Director, Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center.

Mateo Ivanac, Project Manager of the project InnovaMare, which aims to enhance collaboration on technology transfer by creating an innovative network for underwater robotics and sensors, will present the project InnovaMare and achieved results.

The speakers at this seminar will be, Zhao Ning, Associate Professor at Shanghai Maritime University, Đula Nađ, Post Doctor from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb and Goran Vukelić, Ph.D. Vice Dean for Research & Science from Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Rijeka.

The seminar will be attended by Chinese representatives of the business and scientific research sector in the field of maritime industry and technology transfer, which is an opportunity for networking for different stakeholders that are interested in technology transfer, cooperation with the private or scientific research sector, and have a product or service related to marine technologies.
