"Moving along Light Lines": the conference in Adria dedicated to slow tourism that presented Innotcultour project

On July 2nd, the Archaeological Museum of Adria hosted a conference about “slow-tourism” and cycle routes in the Polesine area: "Moving along light lines. Culture, occupation, regeneration among museums, archeology and cycle routes.".

The conference, dedicated to a specialized public of cultural and tourist operators, had a large participation with over 30 presences.

The event was organized by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities in collaboration with the Veneto Region, Department of Culture, together with the Province of Rovigo, Gal Delta Po, Veneto Regional Park Delta del Po, Milan Politecnico - Progetto Vento.

The conference in Adria was also the occasion to present the Innocultour project, focusing on the integration between the cultural heritage, the tourist offer and the creative industry. The project is among those mentioned - for its local development potential - in the ministerial project Musst # 2 which, for the Veneto Region, concerns the Polesine area. On this occasion the Ministry officially presented MuSST (Museums and Development of Territorial Systems) for the first time: it is a program devised by the General Directorate of Museums of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities with the aim of promoting territorial networks, participatory development and the creation of integrated cultural paths.

The day was also an opportunity for the Veneto Region to congratulate the company Meeple srl, based in Rovigo, awarded for the "Archigiochiamo il museo" proposal as it was the winner of the Joint Call Competition promoted by the Lead Partner of the Innocultour project with the aim of gathering, within the area of the Italy-Croatia program, innovative ideas, from the technological point of view, to communicate the contents of a museum. The winning idea "Archigiochiamo il museo" is a project to enhance the Museum of the Great Rivers of Rovigo aimed at its revival as a tourist attraction of the Delta and the Polesine, through a game app that starts from the Bronze Age to get to the Renaissance.

In addition to Innocultour and Musst # 2, other European projects on the archeology of Polesine, such as Historic and Value, were presented during that day.

The day closed at 7.30 pm with a small buffet and the inauguration of the photographic exhibition on the Vento bici tour 2018, "With my eyes".
