On April 23rd at 14.30 the 1st ICARUS training seminar dealing with EU and MS Policies and Strategies for sustainable mobility and multimodal transport will take place. Register and join us!

Following a rather intense phase of the analysis of the existing and available intermodal solutions to ensure better connections in the cross-border area between Italy and Croatia, ICARUS partners will learn about EU and MS Policies and Strategies for sustainable mobility and multimodal strategies. The seminar will provide further inputs for the implementation of ICARUS pilots and measures to ensure multimodal and sustainable connections in the programme area.

The webinar will focus on the selection and summary of EU policies and strategies for approaching sustainable mobility & multimodal transport. During the webinar the main policies will be analyzed and commented. The approach will be top-down, starting from EU to Member States, Regions and Municipalities, including the analysis of specific cases.

Pier Paolo Pentucci - Ph.D. in « Political Philosophy and History of Political Thought», Research Facilitator at Cà Foscari University of Venice will provide a short overview and reassessment of EU Policies in the period between 2005-2020, inputs from macroregional strategy and implementation policies with particular focus on pillar 2 of the EUSAIR: Adriatic Ionian EuroRegion and finally he will dewell upon spillover effects of EU policies in some Member States and specific territories.
