On Saturday 18 December, COPE begins a high-level training course for forest fire prevention aimed at training the Civil Protection Volunteers of the province of Teramo as “AIB Operators Enabled for extinguishing”.

The didactic plan was drawn up in compliance with the requirements of the Civil Protection of the Abruzzo Region in order to guarantee the effective qualification of specialized volunteers for field interventions in support of the Fire Brigade.

The entire course is divided into 10 lessons, held by teachers of the Fire and Forestry Brigade and Civil Protection Volunteers and will end in May 2022 with a practical exercise that will simulate a real intervention in extinguishing a forest fire.
