The Firespill Steering Committee meeting was organized by lead partner PI RERA SD on November 30, 2022 in Split, Hotel Briig. The meeting was attended by project partners from Italy and Croatia. In addition to the discussion of current and upcoming project activities, the emphasis was on the implementation of infrastructure and pilot activities by each partner, and the extension of the project duration until June 2023 what was officially confirmed so all planned project activities could be successfully implemented.
On the second day of the meeting, 1st of December, the project partners together with the members of Croatian Counties/Cities disaster Risk Reduction Platform visited the construction of the Regional Training Center for Training the Operational Forces of the Fire Brigade System in Vučevica where the works come to the final phase. It will be the largest training center for firefighters in this part of Europe that will coordinate, but also educate and train firefighters and civil protection operatives. The construction of the regional center in Vučevica has been carried out in several phases and partly equipped through the project Firespill. 
The another project infrastructure work which refers to the Centre in Kula Norinska has come to the end so the representatives of the PP3 Dubrovnik-Neretva County used the opportunity on the meeting and expressed their satisfaction with the fact that the works on this centre which is foreseen as an outpost of the Regional Center in Vučevica, has been finished and invited the partnership to its official opening in December 2022.
