On 28-29 June, the 7th European Civil Protection Forum in Brussels welcomed participants and all representatives involved in the implementation and the shaping of the European civil protection policy.
The event provided a platform for exchanging views on the civil protection aspects related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The participants also discussed ways of strengthening climate resilience, improving regional and international cooperation, and sharing knowledge for a stronger and more innovative European Civil Protection.
Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič highlighted his ambition of the expansion of the Union Civil Protection Mechanism to all countries in the Western Balkan for the better protection of lives and livelihoods in the region.
In the name of the project FIRESPILL the Forum has been attended by representatives from LP RERA and PP9 Puglia Region.
