ECOSS project team has hosted the first workshop with stakeholders on the 25th September 2020. The Ecological Observing System in the Adriatic Sea (ECOAdS) is aimed to support various target groups engaged in the marine conservation. This is why the project foresees their inclusion in the development of ECOAdS. During this workshop representatives of marine protected areas management bodies, universities and non-governmental organizations from Italy and Croatia could learn about the ECOSS project and particularly about the ECOAdS, and provided their valuable feedback on how to optimize the ECOAdS to best suit their professional needs in the future.
