Zdravi grad has organized a workshop for small tourism ports users, and their employees on April 21st, at MPS “Špinut”. The workshop has been focused on security measures in small ports, what are the risks, dangers, and how to cope with those issues. Participants have been informed about ISPs regulations in general, about the methodologies, and approaches in certain situations regarsing security, expect the unexpected, and how to react. The workshop has raised the participants' awareness of security measures in small ports, about the importance of the proper security measures in avoiding risks in such fragile businesses running in small ports, considering that nautic tourism, and tourism, in general, the one of the most important economic branch, in Croatia. These kinds of activities contribute to the sustainable coastal development and protection of ecosystems.
