DYGOV Project Activities Underway

During the initial implementation period, project partners are focusing on preparatory coordination activities necessary for the successful delivery of the project’s planned outputs. These include the establishment of the project management and communication framework, stakeholder mapping, and the preparation of activities aimed at strengthening youth participation in cross-border governance.
Particular attention is being dedicated to the preparation of the CitiSpace Digital Youth Participation Platform, an innovative digital environment that will enable young people to actively participate in local decision-making processes through interactive and accessible online tools.
At the same time, partners have initiated preparations for the establishment of the Bi-National CitiGEN Youth Advisory Council, which will bring together young representatives from Croatia and Italy to contribute directly to the development of participatory governance models and policy recommendations.
During this period, each project partner is engaging relevant local stakeholders, educational institutions, youth organisations and public authorities to ensure broad participation in forthcoming project activities. These preparatory actions will provide the foundation for the first Transnational Capacity-Building Workshop, scheduled to take place in October 2026.
The DYGOV partnership remains committed to developing innovative digital governance solutions, strengthening institutional cooperation and empowering young people to become active participants in democratic processes across the Italy–Croatia cross-border area.
