Invitation for the testing site visit in Dubrovnik
The CROSSCONNECT project invites interested stakeholders, transport operators, tourism professionals, and public sector representatives to participate in the upcoming Testing Site Visit, taking place on Monday, 1st December 2025 in Dubrovnik.
Organised by Dubrovnik Port Authority and Ruđer Bošković Airport, the event will be held in the Gruž port area, at the premises of the Dubrovnik Port Authority. It will showcase the results of pilot actions implemented in Dubrovnik within the framework of the CROSSCONNECT project.
During the visit, participants will be introduced to:
- A newly developed passenger app providing real-time flight information, traffic conditions, and wayfinding tools for both the airport and the port
- The electric baggage tractor and electric bicycles introduced at Dubrovnik Airport to support home port operations
- An electric vehicle acquired by Dubrovnik Port Authority for individual transport of passengers with reduced mobility
- The overall strategy to improve port–airport connectivity in the region.
The event will begin with a short presentation of the project and conclude with a live demonstration of the electric vehicle at the operational quay.
This is a unique opportunity to explore hands-on how smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility solutions are being applied in coastal areas, and to connect with key actors driving innovation in the transport sector.
