The 2nd February is the annual celebration of the Wetlands at global level. In order to celebrate such event UNICAM will organize an online meeting to present the CREW project and its results in term of implementation by showing to the audience the functioning of the CREW Observatory and web platform. In addition, the participation of representatives of the MedWet Initiative and of the Croatian Ramsar National Contact Point will allow participants to discuss on synergies of the CREW project with the Mediterranean Wetlands Observatory. In conclusion, of the morning session a debate will be set during the round table on Transnational Governance strategies on Wetlands within Italian and Croatian coasts.

In addition, during the day UNICAM will host also a special seminar devoted to students of the Bachelor Degree course: “Environment and Sustainable Management of the Natural resources” of UNICAM where speakers will told about the topic of the WWD 2021, that is water, and on wetlands conservation and management with the contributions of university professors and researchers, and representatives of regional natural sites, in particular by showing examples of wetland contracts that are a one of the focus of the CREW project in developing the transnational strategy for the governance of the wetlands area.
