A  new meteo-oceanographic station has been  installed by the team of  the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries from Split to monitor the Neretva River Delta pilot site in the framework of CHANGE WE CARE project

The Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries from Split, partner of CHANGE WE CARE project, has installed a new meteo-oceanographic station at Bistrina, in the Bay of Mali Ston in the framework of the monitoring activities of the Neretva River Delta pilot site. Data on water level (relative height above tide gauge zero), air temperature, pressure, humidity and wind speed and direction are uploaded to Institute's server every ten minutes.  All mentioned parameters are measured with one-minute resolution and are available at the web portal:

which allows to  monitor the area in near-real time. The Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries acknowledges the colleagues from the University of Dubrovnik for the help provided in finding this interesting location.
