Official project kick-off
The Kick-Off Meeting of the Interreg Italy–Croatia Small-Scale Project CASTLECHAIN – “Fortified Original Roots for Tourism and Innovation in Sustainable Heritage” will be held in person in Motovun (Croatia), at the Municipality of Motovun City Tower seat of the lead partner of the project, on Wednesday 25 February and Thursday 26 February 2026.
The two-day meeting will officially launch the project implementation phase and will gather all project partners together with online attendence of representatives of the Joint Secretariat. The meeting will represent an important opportunity for partners to meet in person, review all operational aspects of the project, and align their joint approach in addressing the shared challenges faced by their territories through concrete and innovative solutions proposed in the CASTLECHAIN project.
All partners reppresentatives will familiarise themselves in detail with all implementation rules and procedural requirements to ensure compliant and efficient project delivery. Discussions will focus on project management and financial procedures, communication and visibility requirements, quality management and monitoring arrangements, as well as the detailed planning of upcoming activities related to inclusive cultural tourism, digital heritage solutions and cross-border cooperation actions proposed in the project. The meeting will provide an opportunity to align operational responsibilities among partners and ensure a coordinated start of project implementation.
