On February 10th, at 10.00am, the Scientific Training Online will deal with the cutting-edge technology applied to marine and oceanic ecosystems study: the pilot area of Torre Guaceto.

The last training day aims to introduce and describe the main techniques for studying marine ecosystems with an in-depth analysis on the technological progress that have contributed, in the last few decades, to an increasing detailed knowledge of both the sea and the ecosystems it houses. Thanks to this technology, it is now possible to monitor and foresee both the anthropic impact and the climate changes.

In the end, it will be displayed a case study about Torre Guaceto, the pilot area, and the technologies involved in the continuous study of water quality in a marine protected area.
