The first local event in Zadar, Croatia was held on January 31st 2023. It was attended by representatives of local authorities who were presented with the BOOST5 project, project activities, and the possibility of financing their needs through the creation of new project proposals through transnational laboratories related to sustainable tourism and the promotion of natural and cultural heritage. 28 representatives of local and regional authorities of Zadar County participated in the local event. Also, the documents Inventory of heritage in minor territories and Thematic best practice catalogue were presented at the local event, as well as a study visit was held in the area of Zadar County.
The purpose of this local event is an informative lecture on the available means of financing from EU funds through the provision of support to public law bodies and public institutions from the area of Zadar County for adequate planning and implementation of measures aimed at the use of EU funds. Also, the aim of this event is to present the activities of the BOOST5 project and the possibilities that EU funds offer for the promotion of sustainable tourism and the development of the rural part of the Zadar area.
