In particular, LAG 5 informed interested stakeholders about the project aims and activities, distributing leaflets and other promotional materials. Several stakeholders were involved, representative of the public and private sector in the tourism field.
BLUTOURSYSTEM project was born to enhance the framework conditions for innovation in the relevant sectors of the blue economy within the cooperation area and to provide tourism operators with tools and skill to develop new business ecosystems and to identify new tourism scenarios and to increase participants’ skills and knowledge having multiplier effect on the tourism sector.
The areas interested by the project involve three Adriatic regions (Veneto, Puglia and Istria) and three destinations Split and the cities of Dubrovnik and Venice. BLUTOURSYSTEM is funded by Interreg V-A Italy-Croatia CBC Programme 2014-2020, mainly through the European Regional Development Fund. The total budget of the project is € 1.037.050 with a EU co-financing of €881.492,50 through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
