More than a project. A network that keeps moving.

30/09/2026

After more than two years of cooperation between Italy and Croatia, the BLUESLINKS journey is coming to an end.

From nautical tourism, aquaculture and small-scale fisheries to fisheries tourism, BLUESLINKS brought together SMEs, students, universities, institutions, experts and young innovators to explore new skills, new ideas and new opportunities for the Blue Economy.

Along the way, we:
🔹 connected people and organisations across the Adriatic
🔹 supported SMEs through innovation, information and expert guidance
🔹 created opportunities for students and young people to develop and present their ideas
🔹 organised Info Days, exchanges and hackathons
🔹 built new connections between education, business and the blue economy
🔹 developed the BLUESLINKS Digital Platform, bringing together knowledge, services and opportunities for the sector.

And perhaps most importantly, we created something that cannot be measured only in numbers: new relationships, shared knowledge and a stronger cross-border community.

Our final conference in Dubrovnik on 3–4 September was a chance to look back at what we achieved together — but also to look ahead. Because the end of a project does not have to mean the end of cooperation.

The ideas, skills, connections and partnerships created through BLUESLINKS will continue to be part of the Adriatic Blue Economy.

💙 Thank you to everyone who was part of the journey.

To our partners, SMEs, students, universities, institutions, experts, mentors, participants and everyone who shared their time, knowledge and ideas — thank you for making BLUESLINKS what it became.

The project may be coming to an end, but the links we created are here to stay.
