International Workshop – Replicability of Blue Stewardship for Climate Change Adaptation

On 27 May 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00, an international webinar titled “Replicability of Blue Stewardship for Climate Change Adaptation” will bring together project partners, experts, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable water management solutions and the replicability of Blue Credits systems in different European regions.
The workshop will present key elements of the BLUE RECHARGE approach, including territorial diagnostics, policy and regulatory frameworks, certification and monitoring processes, as well as the functioning of the Blue Credit platform. Special attention will also be given to climate adaptation benefits, performance evaluation, and international exchange of best practices.
Among the confirmed speakers, Alessandro Bosso will present the session “Certification Process and Monitoring”, focused on the certification framework overview, third-party certification and verification, water quality assurance, and the broader benefits of Blue Credits systems, including climate adaptation and environmental co-benefits.
The event will include presentations from project experts and an open discussion on the feasibility of applying similar approaches in other territories and regional contexts.
