The IV Project Coordination Meeting was held in Split (HR), on 18 June 2019. Project Partner 5, RERA Public Institution for the Coordination and development of the Split Dalmatia County, took care of organising the meeting and of receiving project partners.
The meeting allowed partners to provide updates about activities carried out and to agree on the forthcoming ones. In particular, technical experts, matched schools and teachers and partners discussed the 4 International Education Modules that need to be created and tested with a view to a their adoption by schools. They also discussed the details of the the common scheme for recognition of students’ acquired competences and qualifications that is the final objective of the exchange programme.
Some preliminary results of the mobility programme were also presented. The mobility programme was design as to provide both class-room training and hands-on training at local companies, with a view to both creating innovative skills that match the blue sector's labour market needs as well as increasing students employability prospects.
A first wave of mobility started on March 2019 and involved schools from Marche Region, the Split-Dalmatia and Sibenik-Knin Counties. The second wave is expected to begin shortly and to end in July 2019, involving a total of 38 Croatian and Italian students.
