LEAD PARTNER

Friuli Innovazione research and technology transfer centre

VIA J.LINUSSIO 51

Udine - Italy - saverio.deredita@friulinnovazione.it

Friuli Innovazione was founded in 1999 on the initiative of the University of Udine, Confindustria Udine, the Centro Ricerche Fiat, Agemont, the Union of Industrialists of Pordenone and the Fondazione CRUP (now Fondazione Friuli), with the aim of fostering collaboration between the University and the Friulian economic system.

Our task, in particular, is to foster collaboration between researchers and companies and the industrial use of scientific and technological results produced by research. We assist young entrepreneurs, companies and researchers in the development of business ideas, innovative and high-tech, through the search for partners and funding, the start-up of new businesses, incubation and settlement at our reality.

Today our services are oriented towards some of the main strategic sectors for the economy and the regional research system (ICT, Additive Manufacturing, Metallurgy and Surface and Advanced Materials Technology, Energy and the Environment, Biotechnologies) but we also look abroad, more and more, through participation in European projects and other initiatives that favor the internationalization of companies and Friulian talent.

The operational model of Friuli Innovazione does not have any operating fund and therefore public resources destined to support its operations. It is based on the ability to offer in a competitive way services to companies, both consulting and settlement in the structures of the Luigi Danieli Science and Technology Park in Udine, and to submit projects to competitive bids (European, national, regional) that, if approved and financed , translate into services that Friuli Innovazione puts at the disposal of the territory without charge.
Friuli Innovazione works constantly alongside companies in support of competitive development projects.
