Third ARGOS' Steering Committee - in Bari (Apulia)

The sessions of the third Steering Committee of the Argos Project - Shared Governance of Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Activities as Leverage to Protect Marine Resources in the Adriatic Sea, Interreg Italia Croatia 2014-2020 program, are scheduled for next 28 and 29 July.

 

The sessions of the third Steering Committee of the Argos Project - Shared Governance of Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Activities as Leverage to Protect Marine Resources in the Adriatic Sea, Interreg Italia Croatia 2014-2020 program, are scheduled for next 28 and 29 July.

The technical meeting, which will take place in Bari, at the Agorà hall of Pavilion 152 of the Fiera del Levante, will host in Puglia the representatives of the 16 project partner research institutes and institutes, whose general objective is to promote a common integrated approach for the protection of fish and marine resources and the improvement of the environmental quality conditions of the Adriatic Sea, through multilevel actions aimed at reducing, both directly and indirectly, the pressure of fishing and aquaculture activities on the marine environment.

The opening of the works, scheduled for 28 July at 2.30 pm, will see the participation of the Councilor for Agriculture and Agri-food Resources of the Puglia Region, Donato Pentassuglia, and the Director of the Agriculture Department, Gianluca Nardone.

The manager of the Sustainable Management and Protection of Forest and Natural Resources Section, Domenico Campanile, and the project manager, Giuseppe Scordella, will participate in the technical table for the Puglia Region.
