During a workshop for children in Tkon, junior shipbuilders together with their master – shipbuilder Vojo Bobić made a boat that succesfully sailed into the sea on July 1st. The workshop called "Let's row! Let's make a boat!" lead the children to work hard and make a boat composed of different elements of the traditional boats used in the area of Tkon and the island of Pašman: its stern is the same as in the "pasara" boat, the bow like the one on the "leut", the bottom as the one on the "batana" and the upper part of the "gajeta" boat! The workshop lasted only 7 days, and yet the young participants managed to build an entire boat and learn so much in the process!
