Adswim researchers and technicians from Università degli Studi di Udine, Università Politecnica delle Marche and CAFC S.p.A. will present online during the National Conference on Coastal and Marine Space Planning (Conferenza Nazionale sulla Pianificazione delle coste e dello spazio marino) the project solutions to preserve and to restore our Sea and Coasts:
The aim of #Adswimproject is to assess whether #UWWT , within regulatory limits, could offer a controlled point of nutrients supply, in particular #phosphorus, for the receiving sea water. This requires several actions to preserve the receiving sea water:
- to network among DP’s to share knowledge and harmonise the plants management approaches
- to #survey and compare if the EU legislation has been adopted cross-border by the local governments
- to adopt #innovativesolutions in analytical, microbiological controls and treatments of UWW
- to #transferknowledge and #raiseawareness of citizens (including children) about the contribution they can make to protect the environment by using resources correctly and to be informed about the DPs role in #environmentprotection
