The AdriAquaNet project at AQUAFARM 2022 in PORDENONE, Italy on 25th May 2022 with two training courses for aquaculture experts.

The Interreg AdriAquaNet project, coordinated by the University of Udine, has involved 12 partners, among which universities, research centers and SMEs, building up a community of over 100 collaborators that for more than three years have been working to improve competitiveness and environmental sustainability of Italian and Croatian mariculture. The project undertakes to transfer, through two training courses, advanced knowledge and new technologies to the entire mariculture supply chain - from the management of production plants to the market for
processed fish products - for promoting the environmental sustainability of fish farms, safeguarding the welfare of farmed fish and, at the same time, providing safe products capable of meeting consumer expectations.

For the AQUAFARM 2022 edition, the project partners have organized two workshops dedicated to the health management of fish farms and the quality of fish products which were held on 25.05.2022 at 10.30-12.30, in the ARENA space of the Pordenone fair. Both workshops were held in Italian and were aimed at farmers, professionals, veterinarians, technicians in the aquaculture and fish farming sector.
