Project Info Day in Zadar

On 8 May 2026, the AdriaClimPlus project took part in the Europe Day celebration in Zadar, organised by the Zadar County Development agency ZADRA NOVA through the EUROPE DIRECT Zadar centre. The event was held at Petar Zoranić Square as part of the national initiative “Open Days of EU Projects” coordinated by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
The initiative aims to bring EU-funded projects closer to citizens by showcasing concrete results and activities that contribute to the quality of life and sustainable development of local communities across Croatia.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about a wide range of projects implemented by ZADRA NOVA, including AdriaClimPlus, TOURAL, GUSTI, bePrepARed, ECOFOODCYCLE, BLUESLINKS, ADCCAM2ZERO, FutureECOS, APOLLO, RECIRCLE, Otporan arhipelag, Realist, AdriACTIVE, and IDRON.
As part of the AdriaClimPlus Info day, project activities related to climate change adaptation, coastal resilience, and sustainable management of the Adriatic region were presented to the public.
The celebration also included the active participation of local schools and organisations. Students from several schools presented educational and creative activities, while the association CINAZ, as a EURODESK multiplier, informed young visitors about opportunities offered through European programmes and initiatives.
The event highlighted the importance of cooperation, education, and public engagement in promoting European values and sustainable regional development.
