Survey on the implementation of the GIDAC Strategy within the AdriaClimPlus project
Within the framework of the AdriaClimPlus project, a new survey is being launched to support the monitoring of the voluntary implementation of the Regional Strategy for Integrated Coastal Management and Climate Change Adaptation (GIDAC 2022) in coastal planning instruments.
The GIDAC Strategy was developed through a participatory process involving coastal municipalities, public authorities, research institutions, and stakeholders. As part of its implementation, a monitoring system has been foreseen to assess how its recommendations are being applied at the local level.
To support this process, an online questionnaire (LimeSurvey platform) has been developed, targeting primarily coastal municipalities and their planning tools. The survey aims to collect structured information on the current state of implementation, identify challenges, and support the exchange of good practices.
The survey will be conducted by ART-ER in collaboration with ARPAE and will run from 23 April 2026 for one month.

To facilitate participation, an online meeting will be held on 23 April 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00, where the tool, its content, and the completion process will be presented.

Participation in the survey is voluntary, and all collected data will be analysed in aggregated form to support future policy updates and strengthen coastal climate adaptation efforts.
