AdriaClimPlus presented at the RECIRCLE project Info Day in Zadar

28/10/2025

The project was presented during the RECIRCLE project Info Day, held in the Atrium of the Providur’s Palace in Zadar on 23 October 2025. The event was organized by the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA.

The event gathered representatives of public institutions, local authorities, educational organisations, and the wider community to discuss the importance of responsible waste management and the transition towards a circular and resource-efficient economy. The Info Day also featured the opening of the exhibition “This is how I recycle”, showcasing artwork by preschool and primary school children from across Zadar County.

Within this inspiring setting, the project was presented as an example of good practice in addressing climate change adaptation and resilience in the Adriatic region. By promoting science-based decision-making and sustainable management of coastal and marine resources, the project contributes to strengthening local capacities to respond to the challenges posed by climate change.

Both AdriaClimPlus and RECIRCLE share a common goal — fostering environmental awareness and supporting a sustainable future through education, collaboration, and innovation.

Through cross-border cooperation, these projects demonstrate how EU-funded initiatives can work hand in hand to create long-term benefits for the environment and communities across the Adriatic region.

Other projects presented included: EUROPE DIRECT Zadar, APOLLO, FutureECOS, TOURAL, ADCCAM2ZERO, and ECOFOODCYCLE.
