Introductive Summer School in Lecce - Agenda

The University of Bologna is organising the Introductive Summer School, which will take place from 20th to 25th July 2025 at the Headquarters of the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change Foundation (CMCC) in Lecce, Italy.
The Introductive Summer School is designed for postgraduate and PhD students, with a particular focus on participants from Croatia and Italy.
The programme will address key climate change challenges and adaptation strategies, offering a blend of expert-led lectures, scientific insights from the AdriaClimPlus project, and practical case studies from the Climate-ADAPT platform. Participants will gain a solid foundation in climate risk assessment and explore real-world examples of resilience-building efforts across Europe.
The primary objective is to equip early-career researchers and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and respond to climate risks, contributing to the development of effective, science-based adaptation solutions.
