An innovative solution for collecting water from moisture in the air "Aquaweb", the first of its kind in Croatia, will be presented and set up at the Info Day.

 

 

Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA as part of the implementation of the project AdriaClim - "Climate change information, monitoring and management tools for adaptation strategies in the Adriatic coastal areas" organizes the second info day which will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 starting at 11: 00 hours at the University Agricultural Estate Baštica.
An innovative solution for collecting water from moisture in the air "Aquaweb", the first of its kind in Croatia, will be presented and set up at the Info Day.


In addition to the ZADRA NOVA Agency, partners from Croatia are the Ruđer Bošković Institute, the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries Split, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the RERA SD Public Institution for Coordination and Development of the Split-Dalmatia County and the Istria County.


ZADRA NOVA Agency is a partner in the AdriaClim project, which brings together a total of eighteen partners from the Adriatic regions of Croatia and Italy, and its main goal is to develop a monitoring system and adapt to climate change. Project activities include the development of climate change adaptation plans, the improvement of existing climate change monitoring systems and the establishment of a Transnational Advisory Body. In addition to setting up Aquaweb, the ZADRA NOVA agency is also procuring a tanker truck as part of the project so that dry areas can be supplied with drinking water in the summer months. The project with a total value of EUR 8,823,415.00 is being implemented from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022 within the Interreg Italy-Croatia Cross-border Cooperation Program 2014-2020.
