On that occasion, Andrea Valentini from Arpae (LP) has presented AdriaClim project and explained how 19 project partners from Italy and Croatia works together on reaching a joint goal; to improve climate resilience in the cooperation area, by increasing the capacity to develop new climate adaptation plans and update existing ones and develop mitigation strategies based on high resolution, more accurate and reliable climate information. Through interesting presentation, it was showed to all participants how project partners cooperate on enhance CC adaptation capacity in coastal areas developing homogeneous and comparable dana, how to improve knowledge, capacity and cooperation on climate change observing and modeling systems and to develop advanced information system, tools and indicators for optimal CC adaptation planning.

The aim of "Cultural and Communication Dimension of the European Territorial Cooperation Program INTERREG Italy-Croatia" is to raise awareness about operations of one European programme & its projects and improve the knowledge related to the use of EU funds of the media representatives, while highlighting also their cultural and visual component. The initiative is specifically dedicated to representatives of the local/ regional/national press, TV, radio and specialized magazines working in  the culture, tourism, climate and transport related sectors.
