At the Teatro Rasi in Ravenna, a performance by Menoventi exploring the relationship between human beings, nature and the world around us. Free admission.

On 29 September at 11.00 am and on 30 September at 11.00 am and 9.00 pm, the Rasi Theatre in Ravenna will host O.A.S.I. – Horizons, Environment, Species, Interactions, a theatre production by Menoventi, based on an idea by Consuelo Battiston and Gianni Farina, starring Consuelo Battiston and Alessandro Renda.

The initiative is organised by the Local Climate Adaptation Centre of the Municipality of Ravenna, as part of the European ACTION project, with the aim of offering the public an opportunity for reflection through the medium of theatre and art.

O.A.S.I. stems from the idea of observing the world around us from a different perspective, focusing on the relationships between living beings and the way in which humans inhabit their environment.

The performance does not follow a linear narrative. Its structure is that of a mosaic of scenes, in which different fragments come together and intertwine: fantastical dialogues, experiments with the audience, soundscapes and stories alternate, creating an original and immersive theatrical journey.

On stage, two characters navigate the various layers of this relationship, questioning the way we perceive what is happening around us and the consequences of our choices. The language of theatre thus becomes a tool for observing reality from multiple perspectives, leaving room for curiosity, imagination and reflection.

The production is directed and lit by Gianni Farina, with sound design by Francesco Tedde, set design by Andrea Montesi and costume design by Consuelo Battiston, with consultancy from Alex Giuzio.
