SIU - HOW TO START

SIU - HOW TO START

Applying for project funding is possible during specific periods when the “Calls for Proposals” are open. At the beginning of each call, the Programme will publish a Call Announcement which provides details of what can be funded including available budget and deadline for submission and information on the application and selection process.

The Programme invites you warmly to start with the creation of your personal User account.

1) The credentials for your personal account can be requested and obtained on the Information System Users Management - GUSI

NOTE: In case the potential Lead Applicant organization's user is already accredited to the GUSI in the role of the Lead Applicant, it is not necessary to request again the accreditation for the Strategic calls for proposal application.
On the other hand, the potential Lead Applicant organization's user who has already got PP's login credentials to SIU must initiate the "Registration for new users" procedure anyway.

2) Once the credentials have been obtained, only potential LPs can access Management and Monitoring system - SIU and submit the application.

It is highly recommended to gather all the relevant information before starting to fill in the Application Form.

Submitting any proposal takes a lot of time. Kindly foresee enough time to fill in the entire Application Form. Having the information beforehand you will be able to follow each step smoothly. You can save as you go along and complete the information in several steps. Do not underestimate the time needed to prepare a high quality proposal.

Proposals must be submitted only electronically using the web-based Management and Monitoring system - SIU. The system will be open just within the deadlines that are set by the Call for Announcement for Strategic projects.

Applications that have not been fully completed and validated will not be considered eligible. Ineligible applications will not be assessed.
