The event is named "Strengthening the Resilience of the Ionian-Adriatic Region Through Cooperation" and foresees the participation of speakers and stakeholders, providing at the same time new networking opportunities while highlighting initiatives in the region by the means of virtual exhibitions.
Two projects, out of six proposed by the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme, have been chosen finally by the organizers and Interact programme to be involved actively during the event: DORY and TRANSPOGOOD.
Project DORY has implemented actions for protecting commercial species (cuttlefish) nursery areas and for improving biodiversity through the testing & adoption of fishstock restoration measures. Ecologically sustainable farming materials and methods have been tested to reduce ecological impact of mussel aquaculture.
Project TRANSPOGOOD has developed ICT tools - TRANSPOGOOD Platform - to innovate transport and logistics, increase efficient and sustainable multimodal transport and supply chain visibility. The tools aim at cost savings (at least 10%), reduction of carbon footprint, improved management control and information flow and improved reporting in intermodal transport.
The deadline for the online registrations is 26th January 2021.
