Programme condolences: for earthquake hit Croatian territories

Published on 07/01/2021 (last modified 08/01/2021)

On 29th December 2020 at around 12:20, Petrinja and Glina area, as well as Sisak and Zagreb area were hit by a strong earthquake (6.4 M) that took human lifes and caused very severe material damage where many people lost their homes.

The Programme Italy-Croatia Managing Authority,  the Joint Secretariat and the Italian Delegation are close to our Croatian friends on the occasion of the earthquake that repeatedly struck the area of Petrinja in the past few days, complicating and worsening the emergency situation caused by the ongoing pandemic.

We would like to send a message of condolences to the families of victims of the earthquake and a message of solidarity to all the injured and to all those who have suffered distruction from this disastrous event, hoping for a quick return to normality.
