USEFALL Project presented in EU Parliament in Bruxelles
In occasion of 25th anniversary of Split-Dalmatia County that was celebrated in European Parliament last week, the City of Split Mayor – Mr. Andro Krstulović Opara, spoke about development of the urban agglomeration of Split and its ITI implementation. The current achievements are closely linked and have the impact also on the tourism sustainable development that is being carried out by the project USEFALL – financed by the cross-border cooperation Programme Italy-Croatia.
Mrs. Ivana Tadinac Šećer, presented project USEFALL (UNESCO site experience for all) on behalf of the Municipality of Split, in the role of the project partner.
The outputs provided will contribute to the valorization of the cultural heritage sites of the Programme area by making them accessible to all by infrastructural works, promotional and educational activities for the accessibility for all in the 6 UNESCO sites.
The conference has been attended by the high level policy representatives such as Croation members of EU parliament Mrs. Dubravka Šuica, Mr. Ivan Jakovčić, Mrs. Ivana Maletić, Mrs. Ruža Tomašić, Mrs. Željana Zovko, Mrs. Marijana Petir and Mr. Jozo Radoš, as well as the NATO an EU Ambassadors Mr. Mario Nobilo and Mr. Mato Škrabalo and deputy Mayor of City of Split Mrs. Jelena Hrgović.
